Membership Information

At Dark Knights Chess, no club membership is required to participate in our events—all players are welcome!


However, please note the following:


♟️ Rated Tournaments
Our events are officially USCF-rated and occasionally FIDE-rated. These tournaments will require players to hold the appropriate active membership(s):


  • USCF Membership is required for any USCF-rated events

  • FIDE ID and potential federation membership may be required for FIDE-rated events


If you need to buy a new membership or need to renew your membership, be sure to choose that option during your tournament registration process.

 Check Before You Register
Each tournament flyer will clearly indicate if a rating membership is needed. Please read all event details carefully to ensure you're eligible to participate.
