1 hour Novice Chess Classes:

Novice 1 =  New to chess (unrated player)
                 Monday nights from 5:30pm to 6:30pm
                 Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Novice 2 =  Basic knowledge of chess
                 Can play a full game and checkmate (unrated player)
                 Monday nights from 6:45pm to 7:45pm
                 Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Novice 3 =   Can recognized /create basic check mate patterns (unrated to 400     
                  rating)
                  Dates based on availability
                  Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Novice 4 =   Rated player between 400-600
                  Dates based on availability 
                  Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Intermediate Chess Classes ($25.00):

1-1/2 hour Intermediate Chess Classes (Call for availability):

Intermediate 1 =   Rated player between 600-700
                  Dates based on availability
                  Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Intermediate 2 =   Rated player between 700-800
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes    

Intermediate 3 =   Rated player between 800-900
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Intermediate 4 =   Rated player between 900-1000
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Advanced Chess Classes ($40.00):

2 hour Advanced Chess Classes (Call for availability):

Advanced 1 =   Rated player between 1000-1100
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Advanced 2 =   Rated player between 1100-1200
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Advanced 3 =   Rated player between 1200-1300
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Advanced 4 =   Rated player between 1100-1200
                   Dates based on availability  
                   Duration: 1 Month - 4 classes

Chess Camps:

Dark Knight Chess specializes in providing  customized Chess Camps. We help students prepare for Regional,  State, and National competitions, or just help improve on their chess skills.  We  periodically will have 1 day Saturday events or run 1-week full or  half day events during the Winter, Spring & Summer Breaks. Camps consist  of Structured Lessons, Tactics Practice, Problem Solving Skills and a  limited amount of free play.    

Private Programs Include:

  • Yearly Club Memberships - Entitles you to full use of chess club (more...)
  • Weekly USCF Rated Games - Standard and Quick Rated tournaments (more...)
  • Private Lessons  -  Intensive lessons consist of customized chess openings, game  analysis  to reinforce chess principles as well as endgame principles.  Also  includes developing tactical patterns recognition, assessing  and  rebuilding chess essentials, and mastering the "Choice Move"  thought  process.
